I also wanted to mention as far as my experience in Chicago...this pizza right here...FUGGIN GREAT!!! I was over the homie Rio's crib and when he placed the order, he ordered a medium. Me not knowing, I was like, "Bruh, I can eat a Dominoes medium by myself."

After we get the pizza, after 2 slices, I'M DONE. Oh man, that pizza was so good. Just look at it (click pic to enlarge). You would think, "Who makes a pizza with the sauce on top?" Well at least that's what I thought. OMG that pizza "pie" was AMAZING. If you're ever in Chicago, I would recommend you try it.

Let me start off by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2012...I see this being a good year already. Oh, and let me apologize for the brief hiatus. I know I haven't posted in a couple weeks. When the holidays came, I had gotten so busy with work, music, shopping, and travelling. So now that I'm bizzack, just thought I'd give an update on what the kid's been up to.

These past few weeks, I've been in the process of mixing down Bobbi Ruffin's new project. Off jump, I'll let you know that this joint already knocks for an R&B project and not all the tracks are even mixed. And for new years, I had flew out to the Chi to kick it with the homies Nez & Rio. Can't really say much about what they've been working on. But I will say be on the lookout for the Schoolboy Q project that's dropping on the 14th (this Saturday). The Chi was crazy though. The 1st day, pretty much kicked it on Michigan Ave the entire day. When I linked up with Rio, he had played some of that new shit...man...they got some COLD shit in the works. Then for New Years Eve, kicked it at a loft party. Shit was dope. And the weather was straight. Not as cold as folks make it out to be. It started snowing right when I was leaving. So I couldn't complain. Can't wait to get back out there.

Seen both MI4 and Sherlock Holmes. Both of them were good. Went with the fam to see The Devil Inside this past weekend...that shit was GARBAGE. Do NOT see that...not even when it comes to redbox, which may not take long to get there lol. Annnd I think that's pretty much it on the update. Back to working on this Bobbi J project. Later.

HBO 8/28

Coincidentally, after today, there will be only two episodes left of both True Blood and Entourage. Not really interested in this years VMA's, so I'll be tuned into HBO tonight. Entourage is supposedly playing two episodes. One at regular scheduled time, and the next on HBOGo. It sucks that they cut this season short. And there were rumors that they are cutting the season short is because they may be doing an Entourage movie. That could be dope. But right now, the season to me has been kind of dry. True Blood should be good tonight being that it is coming down to the end of the season. The preview looks like something major is going to happen at the press conference where the last episode left off. If you're up on the show, you see Marney building herself an army. I would guess if something big were to happen tonight, I would guess that either the AVL vamp takes a steak or Sook's going to unleash something else that we haven't seen from her fairy side. We shall see. I'll just record the VMA's on the DVR and check that shit out tomorrow.

Touchin up some tracks

In the studio touchin up one of Ice the Villains latest tracks. I really fuck with the fact you can mess with the quality of the audio on Ustream. I put that shit down to LOW so no1 can hear the crisp quality shit. So NO, that's not what the mixes sounds like. lol
And LMAO @ the end. It did look like I was about to knock my homeboy out.

What's good world?!? Just thought I'd give an update on what's been going on @ The ChiLL Spot. I've been a little busy these past couple weeks recording and mixing down Nez and Rio's #LetsGetiLL EP. Shouts out to them dudes. What's wild about the tracks that I've been workin on is that those two cats are known to put out tracks that are on some other shit. But these joints I've been working on though...OTHER shit lol. Make sure to be on the lookout for #LetsGetiLL in the near future. Welp...I think that's it for the update. Oh yeah...sorry to all those who thought Pittsburg was about to come back in the 4th. SUCKS! lol ah well...later twerps.

My 2 Cents: The Game

Being that it is Tuesday, I thought I'd share my thoughts on The Game before tonight's episode came on. So far, I really haven't been a fan of the new season. Before, I remember the other seasons to be way more funny. As if they were meant to be comedies. With the first two episodes of this season, I sit and actually try to laugh but it really isn't funny. I'll admit, the Dip & Pitts did have me rolling. But other than that, it seems like the writers decided to make The Game more of a drama. That shit's kind of wack. IIIIII don't know. Maybe it'll pick up. You think it will?

Update

Now that I'm finally back online, just thought I'd update yall on what ya boy's been up to. I think the last thing I posted was in June, so I think I'll start from there lol. Back in June, I graduated from Full Sail University and IMMEDIATELY moved out to Atlanta. And the DAY I moved here, I got an internship @ one of ATL's major recording studios. There, I got to meet Jeezy as he finished recording TM103. I've met a few other artists and learned a lot when it comes to recording. Outside of the internship, I've just been recording with the HOMEGROWN/FNFG fam (IcetheVillain, Pizo, Ricosuave, LCD, Phresh Ali). I'm just out here grindin trying to make a name for The ChiLL Spot out here. Now I'm just waitin on my business cards to arrive. When I get those, it's about to be a PROBLEM!!!
