My bad on bein a tad bit late wit this, but here's the latest from the homies NEZ & RIO featuring Kidz In The Hall's Naledge and Chi-town new-comer Swopes. When I talked to Rio the other day, he told me this leak is the bonus track off of their Let's Get ILL 2. The homies finally dropped Let's Get ILL. AND I can proudly say it's a product of The ChiLL Spot. This EP was "produced, performed, and written" by the duo that have usually been known for production. Even before I started mixing the project, when Rio told me they were about to be rapping, I was curious to hear it was about to be because I had NEVER heard them rap before a few months ago. I appreciate the fact that they let me get my hands in the mix. That really did mean a lot. I mixed all but 1 track, BEAT KNOCK, that was engineered by G-Ball (Lupe, B.o.B., etc). To be on the same tape as G-Ball was an honor in itself. Anyway, make sure yall DOWNLOAD this EP ASAP! #dopeshit

The Prequel: The Road to Lets Get iLL

These past couple months, I've been in the lab workin with NEZ&RIO on their up and coming EP Lets Get iLL. Now that it's finally done, I thought I'd throw up a compilation of songs they've worked that I've collected over the past few years. It ranges from songs with Naledge from Kidz N The Hall, Profit aka Billy BANG, Janelle Monae, Vic Mensa, Vic $pencer (lol), etc. Mind you, these tracks here sound NOTHING like what is on the EP. I'm really just trying to get those who aren't knowing hip.

What's good world?!? Just thought I'd give an update on what's been going on @ The ChiLL Spot. I've been a little busy these past couple weeks recording and mixing down Nez and Rio's #LetsGetiLL EP. Shouts out to them dudes. What's wild about the tracks that I've been workin on is that those two cats are known to put out tracks that are on some other shit. But these joints I've been working on though...OTHER shit lol. Make sure to be on the lookout for #LetsGetiLL in the near future. Welp...I think that's it for the update. Oh yeah...sorry to all those who thought Pittsburg was about to come back in the 4th. SUCKS! lol ah well...later twerps.
